Submit sketches
1) Hole Drawings
In order for DiscGolfSigns.net to create your tee signs, we will need you to send us is accurate drawings of each hole. We accept drawings in 3 ways: They can be pictures of old tee signs, hand drawn layouts, or graphic renderings. Google maps, while acceptable for course maps, are not acceptable for tee signs drawings. It is important that you include all pertinent information on your drawings, such as:
- - Distance(s)
- - Flight Paths(s)
- - Pin placement(s)
- - Key Obstacles (trees, bushes, paths etc.)
- - O.B. areas
- - Par(s)
2) Logos and artwork
We can include your logo and photos in your signs:
- Logos-Ideal file format for logos for use with sponsors and sign logos is a true vector file. Example files are illustrator(.ie), corelDRAW(.cdr) or EPS. All .jpg files, .gif files, .png files and .bmp files are raster images which cannot be resized without losing its resolution. These files cannot be used on signs unless they are high resolution and on a white background or transparent background. High resolution would be at least (1000 x 2000 pixels) in size and 266dpi. Anything used on a website will be inadequate for sign reproduction.
- Images-If you choose to submit image files for use on your signs, please make sure you have as large a file as possible. DiscGolfSigns.net can provide direction for large file submission. If submitting a file for use as a background , image must be at least (2000 x 3000 pixels)in size and 300dpi in order to be crisp in the final print. On most digital cameras its the high resolution setting. If the image is not intended as a background, smaller file sizes are acceptable (1000 x 2000 pixels). A good indicator of if a file has high enough resolution is by right clicking on the file and checking its file size. If it is over 1MB, you should be ok. Anything used on a website will be inadequate for sign background use and most other sign applications. Preferred file formats: .tiff, .jpg., .pdf.
